SUMMARY
Design leader with 14+ years of collective experience in creating useful, usable and meaningful experiences through web, native iOS and Android SaaS and SaMD applications. Obsessed with design systems, user-flows, and micro-animations. I love being able to simplify and refine complex problems into functional and purposeful solutions by leveraging a powerful and continuous research and design process.
I have worked in small, large, and internationally-distributed agile teams. I work with cross-functional teams to drive strategic product decisions with a user focused lens. I strive to utilize cognitive and social behaviors to better understand the human mind, its functions, and its effects in a given experience. My process is deeply rooted in empathy, research, and the user, allowing for objective understandings which help guide design decisions that both support and enhance the user’s daily lives. A conceptual thinker possessing high work ethics and standards, who enjoys being a part of, as well as leading, a successful and productive team.
With a hands-on approach, I bring a proven track record of team leadership - building, coaching and managing user experience experts and creating an environment where they have what they need to learn, grow, be empowered, and make the best work they can. I lead all aspects of the UX process from foundational user research to usability testing, product design, design systems, animation, prototyping and spec delivery. I am a nimble, strategic thinker that demonstrates flexibility and willingness to roll up my sleeves to lead my team through changing priorities and interesting challenges. I am a self starter and dive into and/or seek out feedback, review shipped implementations, gather data & feedback to find room for improvement and take it all on. I thrive in an environment where my team can deliver features & products in buildable pieces so we can ship & iterate faster.

The Linus Health platform helps primary care providers (PCPs) detect and address cognitive impairment in a revolutionary way. At Linus, our mission is to make early detection of cognitive impairment not only possible, but also simple, quick, and practical. Through our AI-enhanced assessment platform, PCPs are able to complete assessments digitally, saving patients time and effort. The results are available within the same appointment, meaning the patient will get their results in real time and allow them to make informed decisions about next steps faster than through traditional, paper-based methods.
At Linus, we believe that design is essential as a strategic differentiator. In healthcare, many products are outdated and painful to use, which slows down PCP’s ability to treat their patients effectively. Linus believes that this is something we must solve for outside of our core mission of helping people live longer and healthier lives with better brain health. We have created a competitive advantage through design by offering consistent, adaptive and distinctive user experience within our platform.
Our core purpose as the Product Design Team at Linus is to empower providers and patients by providing digital tools for assessing cognitive function, instantaneous ways to communicate scores, and comprehensible personalized patient plans that help providers promptly act on identified issues. We are constantly learning and are passionate about developing a profound understanding of our users and the problems they face so we can ensure we are personalizing our product offerings to suit their needs.
