The Official Candy Of Love
Sweethearts® Brand, created in 1866, was the first to start sweet conversations around the world. NECCO® produced about 100,000 pounds of the iconic candy hearts each day, which added up to billions of candy hearts—more than enough for everyone in the world to have one. That made Sweethearts® the best selling Valentine’s Day candy. In 2016, the brand got a light makeover conveying a more modern and clean yet youthful look. With the new look cam some new sour flavors. Since Sweethearts® was so successful during the Valentine’s Day season, we decided to expand into more holidays.

A Christmas Blend
This was concept art for a Christmas blend of pink, white and green hearts with new diecut shapes. There was not enough interest in this innovation to bring to market. I designed this new concept and as a team, we came up with new holiday sayings.
